Coworking is the social gathering of a group of people, who are still working independently, but who share values and who are interested in the synergy that can happen from working with talented people in the same space. -Wikipedia

What is Coworking Nashville?

Coworking Nashville is was an effort to create a shared workspace in Nashville to serve the community of tech and social media geeks that operate loosely under the banner of Nashville Geeks. [Now that CoLab and E|Spaces have opened, the need seems pretty well fulfilled.] We envision a place where developers, designers, writers and marketers come to work, collaborate, learn and socialize. If you thought BarCamp/PodCamp/Startup Weekend was a good time, imagine working in that environment everyday.

Our primary objectives for the space include:
- providing a comfortable workspace
- providing a place to hold meetups and plan events
- providing opportunities to share ideas and collaborate on projects
- providing a central place to socialize and build our community

If you're a freelancer, entrepreneur or telecommuter and think Geek Breakfast would be a great way to start every day, then this will be the space for you! Please get involved by completing our survey.

Before we sign a lease, we need to know if there is sufficient interest in the idea (and enough people willing to commit to memberships). If you would like to see a coworking space in Nashville, please sign up for more information and take our survey to let us know how you would use the space and which features are important to you.

We will follow up with you as we make progress in launching the space. For the latest news, follow us on Twitter. Have further suggestions or questions, please contact us via the email addresses on the right.
